The Bluesfuse
This band, from the city of The Hague/Holland was formed in the summer of 2008 around former Vitesse guitar player Peter Langerak.
This musically well-seasoned three-piece band has the following line-up: Peter Langerak, guitar and vocals; Barry Kruik, drums and Mario Smient, bass.
The Bluesfuse plays music
based on the British blues from the sixties, while adding modern influences of
their own.
While today's conservative blues scene, with its tendency to stick with the
twelve-bar-blues, may find the band's choice surprising, this particular style
of music was actually developed back in the sixties by the likes of John Mayall,
Cream, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, early Fleetwood Mac and later on by bands like
Led Zeppelin
They prefer to call their blues “White Blues” as they never worked in the cotton fields.
The band is currentley in the process of recording their first Cd with a variety of songs, including covers, newly arranged to give them some Bluesfuse.
Now come and let yourself be surprised by this professional and impressive live band.
